Day 1: Chennai
On your arrival at Cochin airport, our representative will transfer you to air-conditioned car as you will leave for your hotel to relax. Rest of the day is free for independent activities.

Day 02: Chennai – Mahabalipuram (56 kms)
Have early morning breakfast at the hotel, you will leave for full day sightseeing in Chennai- the city which has retained its traditional flavor even today. At first, you will visit the Marina Beach which is India’s largest beach and thus, it is a must visit place in Chennai. Next, you will visit the San Thome Church which stands on the tomb of St. Thomas. After that, you will visit the St. George Fort which was constructed during the British rule and houses St. Mary’s Church and St. George Museum.
Thereafter, you will visit the Valluvar Kottam auditorium. On completion of the sightseeing, you will drive towards Mahabalipuram and on arrival at this place, check-in the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03: Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry (100 kms)
After the early morning breakfast, you will leave for the sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram which is famous for its various stone carved monuments and ancient temples. At first, you will visit the Shore Temple which is so called as it overlooks the shores of the Bay of Bengal and is one of the oldest temples in South India. Next, you will visit the Panch Rathas which are open air rock cut reliefs and are dedicated to the Pandyas.
Thereafter, you will visit the Mahabalipuram beach and enjoy the scenic landscape. Once the tour in Mahabalipuram is complete, you will leave for Pondicherry and on reaching you will check into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04: Pondicherry – Chettinad (87 kms)
After the breakfast, you will leave for the sightseeing tour of Pondicherry. At first, you will visit the world famous Sri Aurobindo Ashram where people come to seek spiritual harmony and was once the abode of the spiritual Guru, Sri Aurobindo. Next, you will the Auroville which is a strategically planned township, and is referred to as the “City of Dawn”. After that, you will visit the Promenade which is also known as Goubert Avenue. It is built in French style with all the surrounding boulevards and palm trees.
On completion of the sightseeing, you will leave for Chettinad and on arrival, check-in the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05: Exploring Chettinad
After the delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will explore the beautiful Chettinad. You will start your tour with the Chettiar Palace which is also known as the Chettiar mansion. Next, you will visit the Athmanathaswamy Temple which was built during the 10th century and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Then, you will visit the Chettinad Museum which is a heritage home and the only reason that it was converted to a museum was to show the public the unique Chettinad style of living.
In the evening, you can explore the local markets of the town and treat yourself with the local cuisines. Overnight stay at Chettinad.
Day 06: Chettinad – Madurai (275 kms)
After the breakfast, you will drive towards the next destination, Madurai. Once reaching Madurai, you will check into the hotel and relax. The rest of the day is free and you can utilize it as you want.

Day 07: Madurai – Periyar (140 kms)
After breakfast, you will commence the sightseeing tour of Madurai with the Meenakshi Temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is named after Goddess Parvati. Next, you will visit the Thirumalai Nayak palace which was constructed in the 17th century by King Thirumalai Nayak. After that, you will visit the Koodal Azhagar Temple which is one of the most ancient temples in South India. The architecture, the paintings and the sculptures of the temple are beyond words and worlds. On completing the tour, you will leave for Periyar.
Once in Periyar, you will check into the hotel and make yourself comfortable for the overnight stay.
Day 08: Exploring Periyar
Have breakfast at the hotel, then you will leave for full day sightseeing in Periyar wherein you will visit Periyar National Park which is a true example of nature’s bounty with great scenic charm, rich bio diversity and providing veritable visitor satisfaction. Next, you will visit the spectacular Periyar lake where you can enjoy the boat ride and see the wild animals in their natural habitats.
After exploring Periyar, you will return back to the hotel for an overnight stay at Periyar.
Day 9: Periyar-Kumarakom (114 kms)
After the breakfast, you will drive towards Kumarakom. On reaching this place, you will check into the hotel and rest. Post lunch you will visit the various attractions in Kumarakom like the Vembanad lake which is one of the longest lakes in India and the largest lake in Kerala. After that you will visit the Kumarakom backwaters. Next, you will visit the Aruvikkuzhi waterfalls which have wooded landscapes and beautiful scenes.
Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10: Kumarakom Houseboat
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will drive towards Houseboat. You will cruise through the lagoons, lakes and small narrow canals to see farming and traditional style of fishing.

Day 11: Kumarakom – Cochin (48 kms)
After the breakfast, you will drive towards Cochin. Once reaching Cochin, you will check into the hotel and rest. The rest of the day is at leisure though you can enjoy the evening by taking a long walk at the Marine drive.

Day 12: Exploring Cochin
After breakfast, you will leave for the sightseeing tour of Cochin, the largest city in Kerala. This city has become a great hit among the tourists all across the globe because of its amazing hideouts and getaways. At first you will visit the Dutch Palace which is very close to the Jew town and it was built by the Portuguese and presented to the then ruler of Kochi. Next, you will visit the Santa Cruz Basilica. This Cathedral is an important Basilica in the Fort Kochi. Its architecture is a treat to the eyes. Thereafter, you will visit the Hill Palace Museum which is not only Kerala’s first heritage museum but also the largest archeological museum in Kerala. Then, you will enjoy the local cuisines of Kochi at any of the local restaurants.
Post-lunch, you will visit the Museum of Kerala History which is located at Edappally. This museum is a must visit place for the ardent lovers of history. Next, you will visit the
Indo-Portuguese museum which was built to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Portuguese people. Return to your respective hotel rooms for a comfortable overnight stay in the hotel at Cochin.
Day 13: Cochin – Coonoor (282 kms)
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will drive towards Coonoor which is the second largest hill station in this region and famous for its production of Nilgiri Tea. On reaching this place, you will check-in the hotel and rest for a while. Post-lunch, you will visit Sim’s Park, it is the most visited place in the region and houses a huge variety of flowers and plants. Next, you will visit the Dolphin’s Nose, so called as the rocky patch form’s the shape of a Dolphin’s nose. After that, you will visit the St. Catherine’s Falls and Lamb’s Rock. It is difficult to describe the beauty of both of these places in words.
They are the true meaning of nature and offer a mesmerizing scenic charm. Overnight stay at Coonoor.
Day 14: Coonoor – Mysore (146 kms)
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will drive towards Mysore. On reaching this place, you will check-in the hotel. Rest of the day is free for independent activities.

Day 15: Exploring Mysore
Once done with the steaming breakfast, you will leave for the sightseeing in Mysore. At first, you will visit the Mysore Palace which is the largest palace in India. Next, you will visit the Mysore Zoo where you can treat the animal lover in you. It’s an offbeat but an enthralling place to visit for every tourist. Near to this Zoo is Karanji Lake which is one of the biggest lakes in Karnataka and encourages the migratory birds. After that, you can visit the Brindavan Garden and St. Philomena’s Church.
In the evening, you can stroll in the local bazaars and take some beautiful souvenirs for loved ones. Overnight stay at Mysore.
Day 16: Mysore – Bangalore (147 kms)
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will drive towards Bangalore. On reaching this place, check-in the hotel and rest for a while. Later you will go for half day sightseeing in Bangalore wherein you will visit Lal Bagh which was started in the 17th century by Haider Ali and was completed by his son, Tipu Sultan. Next, you will visit the ISKON temple which has deities of Radha and Krishna and is one of the largest ISKON temples in the world.
After that you will visit the Bangalore Palace which was built in 1887 by Chamaraja Wodeyar and is inspired by England’s Windsor Castle. Overnight stay at Bangalore.
Day 17 : Departure
Have breakfast at the hotel, then you will be dropped at Bangalore airport to board your flight to home/next destination.
